"Project Tuner On The Rocks" 2006 Nemesis
Newest Members of the Team Purple Racing family: Team Purple Motorsports is proud to announce the addition of the Banditos Rock Racing Team of Randy Southall and Rod Heighes to the Team Purple Racing family. They are the new owners of the famed Nemesis Buggy. Together this Professional Rock Crawling duo brings decades of wheeling and racing experience to the Rock Crawling arena. Randy has been an avid off-roader dating back to his days in the Northern California foothills and now into the great Pacific Northwest mountains of Idaho. For years he has been honing his skills and gaining experience on the rocks and trails. Now, with a burning desire to continue his growth, he is ready to enter the competitive world of Rock Crawling. Randy is supported by his wife Brandy and two boys, Jordan and Tyler. Jordan, or Cyclops, as he is affectionately known, is already a member of the teams pit crew and soon hopes to pilot one of the team’s competition buggies. Rod, “Rock Legend”, Heighes comes to the team with a rich background in off-roading and a heritage of racing dating back to his days as a boy turning wrenches on his dad’s race team, before racing and winning himself in 4x4 sand drags. Rod, along with his supportive wife Kim, who also comes from a racing family, brings the knowledge of racing and winning to the team. Rod’s Master Fabricator status along with his driving and spotting abilities makes this team a “hard to beat” combination.
Team Purple is excited to once again be an intricate part in the World of Professional Rock Crawling. Randy and Rod along with Team Purple Motorsports are the rookie team to watch as the 2010 W.E.ROCK season begins in March 2010.
