We have been rock racing and rock crawling for eight years over Volkswagen sized boulders, up and down waterfalls and through the brush.  We thought it was time to venture down another avenue that we didn't have to go far from home to enjoy. 

To achieve this, we picked up a 2004 Mitsubishi EVO VIII GSR to have a little street fun!  I'm sure many of you are familiar with the Legendary EVO VIII or you have seen one on the street.  In 2007 we began participating in Street Legal Class Drags.  Talk about an adrenaline rush!  Melanie and Ron are both competing as drivers and doing very well.  

AEM has followed us to our new venue.  They are doing a complete sponsor build-up on the EVO VIII.  To include their EMS Engine Management System, Custom Cold Air Intake, DC Sports Exhaust, Turbo Header with Down Pipe, AEM Gauges, and AEM Turbo Boost Controller.  The buildup was covered by Grass Roots Motorsports and be published in their Aug/Sept 2007 issue. 

Hercules tire (245/40/18) is providing the rubber to keep this baby on the road and track. Riding on Rota Tarmac 18" wheels.

Eibach has provided their Pro-Kit springs.  We installed the springs and were pleasantly surprised to find that the ride was as great, better then stalk.  Usually when you install performance springs your ride stiffens, not the case with the Eibach Pro-Kit.
